Hi, My name is Liz Halloran, married, mother of 2 (pets).. I'm a runner, a lover, storm chaser, weather enthusiasts and I'm willing to try any adventure once! I'm a Lead Project Analyst for an HR division of GE and I enjoy graphic design and process improvements as part of my role. I'm madly in love with my neice Maiya and look forward to all of the adventures we are going to share as she gets older.
What to say about someone who wants it all?!
I like your book cover, makes it mysterious. I have to agree to that the image of the woman is a little too distorted. I had to try to make the image bigger to figure it out. I like the grayscale of the cover and the lighting effect in the middle. Great job.
Thanks for the input! I will absolutely revise the color of "grey" and repost.
Hi Robin and Jon, I choose to go with a distorted image of the female because of the story's main character, Ana. Ana is a mystery, very hard to read, shy, modest and incredibly uncomfortable with her body and sexuality. She's fallen for a gentleman who is far outside the scope of what she considers safe. By blurring her and enhancing her hands and cuffs, I thought it gave her the protection she needed while still conveying the erotic current of the story. Maybe the image makes a little more sense after clarifying?
I like your artwork much better, but I think the "of" gets lost - maybe if that was the same shade of grey as the word "grey" ?
ReplyDeleteI agree its tad hard to read (of and grey) and figure out the image. Need spine

I like the "shades of Gray" the space seems a bit off to me. The left side of the cover is too crowded.
